Zouhair Mtazi sought the spotlight as a little boy. Nowadays he is known for dedicating himself to his passion, acting. For several years he played with major productions during the national tour of Theatergroep DOX. The show La Vie C'est Drole, in which he played, won the Silver Cricket. He also played in the installation performance Phobiarama by Dries Verhoeven. Phobiarama played at festivals in the Netherlands and in Europe. In addition, Zouhair will play the solo performance Rewind, which he created himself, directed by Khadija Massaoudi. The performance received an honorable mention from the jury of the Amsterdam Fringe Festival in 2018. At the moment he is playing in the performance Het Oog van de Storm by More Theater Producties with Hans Croiset and Anne-Wil Blankers, among others.

He was seen in television series such as Penoza, Flikken Maastricht, A'DAM - EVA and Jeuk. Zouhair regularly plays in short films of the 48hour Film Project, an annual creative international film festival. The film Hitchcock-Hitchcock, in which he played a leading role and for this also won the 'Best Actor' prize, was even selected for the International Film Festival Rotterdam. He regularly plays in video clips, such as in the clip for the single Ik Was Toch Jeisjes by Roxeanne Hazes.
